This Week In Apple: Who Cares?

So I am at my computer at 5:00 AM this morning on the west coast drinking my coffee and checking out todays news and headlines for Apple, when I realized how incredibly strong my wife made my coffee and how lame this weeks news has been, as far as the tech industry goes!
Check this out for example, Sony to open online media store, are you kidding me? Sony just now realizes they need an online store for there multimedia products! Have they been sleeping for the last ten years? A little late to the party aren’t we?
The next headline I read is “Calling Phony on Apples New Ads” by Guy Briggs of Fox News. I usuall enjoy fox news but this guy has obviously never used a mac. Saying that Apples latest add, with the flash backs of all the times Microsoft has promised an easier softer way with each new operating system, is nit picking since all operating systems have bugs. This statement is true all operating systems do have bugs, but not all operating systems crash your computer over and over and cause you to spend endless hours defragmenting and restarting your computer every couple hours you surf the web because your computer freezes! Steve Jobs just send this guy a Mac Book so he can get over himself.
The funniest news story is the one where Steve Balmer of Microsoft has to answer his stock holder’s questions about Mac. How fun must that have been. Having to concede to his stock holders that even in a down economy the more expensive Mac is gaining ground.
And then, the next headline is about Apples release of a new Concierge app for employees at the Apple Store. Do I really care what app the employees at the Apple store are using, just dont make me wait in line for 45 minitues to by a mini DV to DVI cable!
And last but not least on my list of lame news today is the ridiculous iTablet! This whole idea of a tablet is just ridiculous and completely useless to 99% of the population. Who wants to carry a 15 inch screen around. There is a reason the iPhone is so popular, it is a portable touch screen all in one Mac. You don’t need an iTablet so stop writing the endless articles speculating on the release date of this worthless idea!
Thank God it is Friday!
